I haven’t tried washing it, yet, but so far, this hoodie is incredibly soft and comfortable. I am a lifeguard, and everyone has been admiring this jacket. If this company does custom orders, hopefully my boss will feel inspired to buy our next box of uniforms from this company. (Our current uniforms rub in the arm pit.)Edit: my husband “borrowed it”, wore it to visit his parents in Saudi Arabia, and whatever happened (probably desert dirt) resulted in my mother in law or a maid washing it at high heat. It didn’t shrink, but it pilled. It held its color but became dingy. I ended up washing it in tide and borax with fabric softener. The dinginess went away, but it’s not cuddly anymore. It survived, though, even after my friend’s Armenian Gampr got frisky with it. The fabric tore on the dog’s teeth a bit, but it didn’t unravel and I was able to patch it.

I have been looking a long time for a zip-up hoodie that clearly identified lifeguard on both the front and the back. This one also has the word lifeguard on the sleeves, which makes you even more identifiable. I bought it because when I teach lifeguard class you get easily chilled getting in and out of the water. This was perfect for my early season outdoor classes and I don’t know how I went so long without one. I am on the large side so I bought a 2X which is what I usually wear in a t-shirt or blouse, but fashion items often run small. This one fit perfectly and is actually roomy. I recommend it for any outdoor life guards!

Great fit, great quality… but it is not a true red, like pictured. I bought this to be part of a lifeguard uniform for work and it doesn’t match the rest of the items that are true red.

The media could not be loaded. This was a great buy if you’re looking for a sweater just to slip on over yourself the sizing was a large and it still fits me loose fit I am 5’3and I weigh 170lb so it was still loose definitely in mens sizing so if you want a tighter fit I would suggest going down a size but overall it is a great sweater very soft inside the red is not as vibrant as other lifeguard sweaters that I have seen but definitely a nice red a little faded but definitely a good buy will recommend this product

I bought this because I recently became a lifeguard and needed something for cold mornings. The sweatshirt arrived sooner than expected, which was a plus. However, as soon as I opened it, I noticed three things instantly. 1) It was advertised as a FLEECE zipper hoodie. It’s not fleece. It’s standard sweatshirt material. 2) The color is extremely faded, as you can see from the picture. 3) as you can also see from the picture, it has a hole where the sewing machine missed the seam. I’ll make it work, because I need it for my job, buti won’t be buying from this seller again.

Our son bought this for himself. It looks good and is soft. I have not noticed any pilling. Color and shape still good after many washes.

We got the Red Zip up Hoodie in and liked it. It’s a subtle heathered red, which he liked better than the glaring fire engine red. Ann Arbor has great products that are well made.
