- MICHIGAN ARTISTS & PRINTERS | this design was drawn and screen printed (silk screened) with pride by our skilled illustrators and printers in Ann Arbor. If you’re ever in the area, stop by for a free tour and see how we make your apparel! Tagless tag is printed on fabric inside collar, you can’t feel it.
- UNISEX MODERN FIT SIZING | this shirt is slightly tapered to be a little less boxy than the old style of mass-market t-shirt. Nothing drastic, and most people wear the same size in our shirts as they do in all of their others, but you might go one size larger if you’re on the fence. It is pre-shrunk, but like any high-cotton product, will still shrink slightly in the wash. Our model photos are the real thing – the actual shirt on our salesguy, Rich. He’s 6′ 2″, 200 lbs and wearing a large
- SOFT FABRICS | Our shirts are a ringspun, 30/1 fine jersey knit on 100% USA-grown cotton. If you don’t speak t-shirt geek, that means they are soft and smooth with a high thread-count, tight knit made out of fuzzy plants grown by American farmers. These are mid-weight shirts – a bit lighter than your mass-market, thick gym class t-shirts, but substantial / not see-through. It’s a nice balance between comfort and durability
- TOP QUALITY INKS & EQUIPMENT | We use QCM screen printing inks, manufactured in Pineville, North Carolina. These are high quality inks – vibrant and durable, and highly crack resistant. Some of our designs are intentionally faded or cracked (see product photos), but our inks always “do what they are told” by our printers. We use top of the line printing presses and ovens (to properly cure inks) made by M&R in Roselle, Illinois
- SAFE CHEMISTRY | QCM has been one of the most forward-thinking ink manufacturers in the industry, going phthalate-free over ten years ago – way ahead of the curve. They’re also CFC free and rated as carcinogen-free by the state of California

Fit great.Very comfortable.Nice bold letters that stand out.I wore this as a social experiment on the cruise I was on. It was a tremendous success! I got tons of hugs. I will paste what I wrote on my facebook. Here is my story:+++++Decided a while back during the cruise I was going to wear a “free hugs” shirt as a social experiment. I didn’t know what to expect but needed to give it a try.The first day was not a full cruise day. At first I counted them. There were 4 hugs before leaving dock. Shortly after I had gone up to 8.I lost track after 30. At that point someone would do it and then 2 friends and counting in threes became too difficult. By the end of a (partial) day one I was around 50 or 60.Tons more the following day.Even more the following day and more wanting them in groups.I estimate probably around 300-500 hugs. Impossible to know by now. There were a couple I was very surprised by. The prize for the most surprising was when someone said “he wants a hug” and I look to see a bunch of dudes in cowboy hats. I thought he was kidding but then I see a guy pointing to himself. He wanted a hug. A guy wanted a photo with us. Then a photo of a hug, then another photo of us, then he kept his hand on my back and made sure we knew each others names and let me know this was his bachelor party and hoped he would see me again. The other most surprising one was the body builder who was with a lady I guess his wife.Women always said something. Many men were silent and said nothing. Just came up to me with arms out.2 hugs made me sad. The old lady I could tell needed one. One bearded guy said “thank you” softly and he also needed one, perhaps more then the usual person. One lady made me a little mad. Told me to change my shirt. “This is a new shirt you lie!” She was drunk.Didn’t care for when people said someone else wanted a hug when they didn’t. Don’t waste the huggers time. Their time is valuable. I hug people who want one.Hugged some random guy before a comedy show and did not get a good look at his face. During the show he said”Guy folding your arms it is not a good look for you. You can get free hugs from the guy behind you. I hugged him before the show. It was a nice moment.” It was comedian Steve White I hugged and didn’t realize it.Also made great new friends who insisted I was part of their crew now and we immediately talked and drank for 5 hours straight. I wasn’t in their group photo so I improvised.#freehugs #carnival #cruise #carnivalcruise #hugs #SteveWhite #socialexperimentEDIT: cruise was 2 full days 2 partial days.Record for most hugs was guy who did it every time he saw me probably 20 hugs or so.

If you are an open person, then get this T-Shirt and wear it until you need to replace it! Ha! I bought this for fun. However, I soon learned that it was much more than just fun. Everywhere I go, shopping, a concert, wherever, someone reaches out with there arms in a new way. I see customers like videos with reviews now, but I would have to wear a GoPro camera on my shoulder for you to see. Most reach out with a big smile because they are huggers too, but occasionally there’s someone that’s not so happy that will reach out as if to just really need a hug. Hey, I’m a big burly guy with a beard. I guess I look like Santa Claus. Ha! Once I forgot I had it on and was off in a world of thought and someone came up and said “Here’s a free hug for you”, and patted me on the back as if to say it will be Ok. Well, it works both ways! The product itself is exactly as described, a good quality T-Shirt, not some bargain deal. Buy one and experience the world around you! Thanks!

This shirt has resulted in an average of one pleasure sharing experience with a complete stranger per wearing.

I’m a tall dude and this shirt fit amazingly! I might have to buy 6 more for the rest of the weeks!! The only shirt that won’t show my belly when I raise my hands!

Fit perfectly and worked as expected

Shirt was comfortable and to size. Wore it all over as a social experiment and nobody asked for a hug. Disappointed in the world’s lack of joy from hugs.

I ordered an XL and it was huge. Order to your size or maybe 1 size smaller.

I was going to use this shirt at some events this summer and have some fun with it. But I will have to go up a size as my normal size is way too small from them. It also feels like a cheaply made shirt, few washes and that lettering will be gone for sure. The sleeves were also incredibly tight, I think even a size up the sleeves will be too tight.
